About our cluster
The Swindon & Wiltshire Cyber Cluster (SWCC) is a dynamic, diverse, and forward-thinking group of like-minded individuals, who receive ongoing support suitable for all businesses.
The group creates a valuable and action-based network focussed on growth and innovation in the cyber sector, and at the same time supporting SMEs from all sectors across the Swindon and Wiltshire region. Our Cluster events support national and international initiatives as well as provide opportunities.
The Cluster encourages collaboration, identifies partnership opportunities, and provides networking to share ideas and best practices. This provides specialist cyber businesses with opportunities to find new ways to thrive and drive innovation, while giving the business community the opportunity to learn more about cyber security from our specialist members.

Supporting Members
The Cluster supports both the UK Government’s National Cyber Strategy and Swindon & Wiltshire’s Local Industrial Strategy by building cyber security knowledge, skills, infrastructure, and capabilities to make local SMEs more resilient to cyber-attacks through minimising risks and raising educational awareness.
The Cluster participates in the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology Cyber Security Forum. Internationally, it engages with the Department for Business and Trade and Global EPIC.
Our mission is to propel the ecosystem for our local industries whilst dealing with society’s cyber challenges.

Unlock CyberFirst Trowbridge – 6 Dec 2024
Inspiring the Next Generation of Cyber talent!
Unlock CyberFirst is a collaboration between CyberFirst and Unlock Cyber, to bring the best of the Southwest’s computing and cyber industries to Trowbridge. The morning session is aimed at year 9s, to excite and engage them with workshops on coding, cybersecurity, encryption and more. In the afternoon, bring your year 12s along to hear the same speakers share their routes into work, and maybe even find the role for them!

The Women in Cyber Wales second national conference showcasing and celebrating the work of women in the cyber security sector.
Following the success of Securing the Future: Women in Cyber in 2024, Women in Cyber Wales are delighted to be hosting our second national cyber security conference for women and allies on 12th February 2025 at the ICC Wales. The event will celebrate the work that women are doing in the sector, showcasing their talent across a breadth of different roles and demonstrating the importance of an inclusive workforce.
